Fluid Mechanics allows for the collection of quantitative data to measure a liquid or gas’ velocity. This is accomplished by optical techniques from point to full field measurements.

Micro Fluidics is a research area focused on the flows of micro channels including MEMS and biomedical flows. The measurement of velocity, temperature and concentration can be accomplished with the techniques which Dantec provides, please see below.

Particle Characterization is used to measure droplet size and velocity in sprays. Both image- and laser- based techniques can be used for nearly any spray.
